screen for window

I just moved into my apartment the beginning of last month. The windows in one of the rooms are missing a screen. I know nothing about any type of home improvement . I was wondering: How would I go about adding a new screen for the window to keep bugs out and such? Would I have to go as far as to paying someone to install one?

They sell expandable screens at 5 and dime stores that you put in the window, then put the sash down on top of them to hold the screen in.

Since this is an apartment, why not just put in a request to have the missing screen replaced? Or do you own this apartment? If you rent or lease, the owners should at least know that it's missing so that you don't get charged for it when you move out.
