screen door

the door jamb of existing structure is @ 32". the brick molding is 1/2" recessed both sides, therefore requiring a 33" custom door. could i just use ripped 1/2" x 1" x 80" stock to fill the void allowing for use of a 32" door? there is 4" remaining in the jamb outide of the storm door stop

Sure...adhesive and screw thru predriiled holes.
