Is this safe?? (Mold question)

How much in repair / removal would this cost.

This is the basement of the home I want to purchase. The basement is moist/wet/damp. The cement floor is covered in a layer of mud. There is mold growing under a plastic that covers the dirt walls in the basement. I think I tracked the source of water from a corner of the house where water is leaking between the driveway and the house - going directly into the basement. How much would it cost to fix a problem like this?

I would rethink the purchase after some mold problems we are fighting. Another property may be a better answer. We said "no problem". Now it is an expensive problem. Hind sight is always 20/20/

I would not buy that. Looks like there is some serious foundation issues which may lead to structural damage. I'm no expert, but yeah this looks bad. My guess is you'd need to first pump out all the moisture/water, get rid of the mold, and re pour the foundation or at least the floor. Probably more details there as well. Lots of $$$. Depending on how bad it is they may even need to jack up the house, which then means you could get cracks in the walls and have to repaint/patch etc. So yeah, I'd stay away!

oooh, I'd run from that place. I agree with others, it looks like there could be serious structural damage..... :(
