Ryobi batteries 14 vs 18 volt

firepatch Newbie   Join Date: Dec 2010 Posts: 1	Ryobi batteries 14 vs 18 volt I have a 14vdc RYOBI drill and tool set, and the OEM batteries have died. Do the new 18vdc batteries fit AND work in the 14vdc drill and tools

rtoni Member   Join Date: Jul 2007 Posts: 386	Ryobi batteries 14 vs 18 volt probably emailing Ryobi would clarify. The only thing I can offer fwiw is that I have so far returned 2 Ryobi L-Ion 18v batteries after a couple months light service - so far not impressed with the quality but guess I didn't expect much when I bought the tools.
