Rock siding
My house has sandrock siding halfway up on it and the top ledge is not letting the rain drain away from the siding on the top half, it is causing the siding touching it to rot. How can I fix this and some places where the concrete and rock have cracked away from each other.

I have not worked with sand rock siding so I am unsure what exact products to recommend. However I am sure you must find a way to stop the water from staying on the top ledge. Mortar comes to mind, I would try and make a tapered ledge on the top of the wall to shed the water away from the wall. Then you could fill the cracks with a epoxy look for one recommended for concrete repair for a strong bond or at least seal the cracks with a caulk to help prevent leakage and additional cracking.

JW, I'm curious where you are located? Would flashing work? Can you post a picture of the problem please?

Flashing sounds like a better idea then the mortar that I was thinking if it would work out :o
