resealing limestone tiles

I was wondering if I need to reseal limestone tiles and how I would do that?

They were installed in the bathroom approx. 3 years ago.

Do I need to remove the sealer that is there now?

I am not a tileman but came across this article you may want to read until one of the Pros comes in with a more complete answer.
