Reposition iron gate?

My one year swinging gate is sagging. The gate fits fine when closed but jams up on the (sloping) driveway when open. I adjusted the bolts all it will go and that worked for a while. But the main problem is the post, it is leaning back a few inches where it must have been more vertical when first installed (pic).

I dug some around it and though the post is just inches from the driveway and the fence, it seems to me I can do some digging and reposition it. Looking for some instruction.

Thanks in advance
