Ok. Now I'm confused. I have some people helping me, so I know we can do it. I'm getting conflicting advice. I can't put osb over the insulation? Strip it down to studs, put on the osb. Then what? Tyvek? Then siding? What about insulating? I appreciate everyone's input, what's the best way while keeping a budget in mind?

I think the consensus

What you have is:
Wood Siding - Insulation - Studs with fiberglass between

What is suggested:
1) Remove the siding and the insulation
2) Layer:
Vinyl Siding - Tyvek - OSB - Studs with fiberglass between

If you leave the insulation you would probably have the siding protrude out farther than the windows.

Being on a budget, put the OSB on top the foam. The insulation was installed from inside- underneath the sheet rock. Leave it alone. You could pull a pc. of the foam off and have a peek at it where that rotten section was.
You still going to do one side at a time? The Tyvek really needs to wrap around the corners.

OSB under the rigid foam board, or just not on the corners if you don’t want new trim.
