Replacing drywall in shed with osb

I have a carport that connects the house on one side, and 2 outdoor storage rooms on the other. The storage rooms are not connected to the house any other way.
My question is this: the previous owner was also the builder and he put drywall up in the storage rooms. The drywall and seams are falling apart, and beyond that I'd like to hang a lot more stuff on the walls, so I'd like to replace the walls and ceiling with osb or plywood instead of patching the drywall. Anybody see any issue with this? Code issues? I live in city limits of Greensboro, NC.
I'll also mention that termites were found in one of these rooms upon move-in inspection. It was not a bad infestation and there was not a lot of damage, and it was treated.

I'm a first time poster. Thanks in advance for any/all responses.
