replacing aging wood and chain link

I am looking to replace about 100ft of old wood and chainlink fence. On the wood section, posts have started to rot and fall over after 20+ years, and the chainlink section is only 4.5' tall with few posts, no top rail, and sagging everywhere.

How it looks is not that important since it is in a back corner. There is some privacy consideration so that all wood would be a plus, but the tradeoff is much more labor with all the extra digging, measuring and cutting, and it blocks all breezes.

I am leaning towards replacing it with all 5' or 6' chain link. I remember doing this years ago for the other property lines, and those chain link posts are up to 12' apart and it seems easier to conform to sloping ground.

For privacy, I was thinking to grow vines on it or use a covering like that green fabric if it lasts and is not too expensive. I have even seen fake or real wood coverings too. Does anyone know how long that fabric lasts and what it is made of (vinyl)?

Ayuh,... They make little slants that feed Through the chain links that'll do exactly what you want...
The 1s I've seen are metal, but I think there's also plastic 1s...

I was surprised to see how expensive that stuff was. One brand of vinyl slats would be more than the cost of putting up the fence to begin with, and would it even last 20 years?

For noise abatement I have decided to replace and extend the wood fence, but I am not looking forward to the labor. The horz stringers on the old fence followed the ground contour, and measuring and cutting all those custom angles is time consuming.

I am wondering if there is some way to do a chain-link and then face it with wood with good results. That would eliminate lots of time since the post holes don't need to be exact (I have roots), and I could have the fence up immediately and take my time deciding plants vs vines vs slats vs wood.

So wood facing on chain-link, ever see this done?
