I'll be finishing my basement in the next year or so but I think I'm going I have the windows done first so I'm wondering if having the windows put in before I rip out the paneling and put up drywall will cause problems?
(sorry for the repost, but I think the readers of this area might be more apt to answer the question)
I am assuming that the windows are already there and you are just replacing them. If so, either is fine ... if there is no additional structural changes. Otherwise, I'd do it all together to ensure the windows and the frames are the correct width and depth. The easiest time is when everything is accessable and adjustable as needed.
replace the windows first, if any of the windows are slightly larger or smaller you wont be getting into cutting back or filling in any drywall
