Repairing crumbled end of concrete patio
My deck rests on top of a concrete patio, and one end of that patio is crumbled and I'm planning on patching that up. The end that I'll be patching is actually sitting on my driveway, not my yard.
My plan was to put in rebar horizontally into the patio plus a few vertical pieces into the driveway and leave a few inches of the rebar sticking out to reinforce the new concrete.
Any suggestions on type of concrete to use? Tips to make it stronger/better? Things to watch out for?
I live in SW Ohio, so hot summers and cold winters. I'll try to provide pics, if possible, later on.
Got ready to take some pics and Mother Nature decided to postpone that idea, thanks to a thunderstorm. I'll try again tomorrow!
