I have a section of my deck that I have to remove for some work to be done on my well. The deck is Trex decking that is nailed down not screwed. Do you have any recommendations for how to remove the decking without damaging it, if that is even possible?
I'm blown away that someone would have ever even tryed nailing it down and not screw it instead.
Good luck trying to remove it without damage.
The tool I would use is this one. Northern Tool also stocks them. http://www.thegutster.com/

I agree its ridiculous that it was nailed down. I've been finding these kind of fun little surprises the previous owner left me. The deck was here when I bought the house so I have to deal with what I have I guess.
