Railing Around Stairwell - Code?

Melanie337 Member   Join Date: Sep 2006 Posts: 60	Railing Around Stairwell - Code? Hi....Can someone tell me the minimum height of a railing surrounding a stairwell on the second floor of a house? I am in Canada, so it may be different from the US. I know the railing height on the stairs themselves is 32-36" in Canada. Thanks! M
