Which Quickcrete best to stick to dirt for wall in crawlspace?

having some problems with some water getting into my crawlspace and have traced it to an unsealed portion of dirt wall. the previous owner has slathered some concrete along most of it; seems like it must have been a while ago (approx. 15 years ago) because some of it has cracked and/or pushed completely away from the wall. question is; how can I get concrete, (are there certain types that work better than others?) to stick to the dirt wall to act as a temporary barrier until i can raise funds to have the wall properly repaired? Not sure what they used for the previous slather? any comments/quips will be greatly appreciated.

Where are you located? There are very few places that would consider this a foundation. I would try to control the water from the surface. Grading, leader extension, etc.
What sort of structure do you have on top of this foundation?

It looks like this was dug-out below the pre-existing foundation
This can be very dangerous & can collapse

It looks like an accident waiting to happen. I would really work hard & fast to raise the funds to get this repaired.

I just noticed daylight thru some of the stones on the "foundation"

The foundation need to run below the exposed dirt line
You can't just plaster concrete against that dirt
If this gets really wet & soft it can give way at any moment

If the only thing supporting your house is the outside wall shown then you have a major problem that needs to be fixed ASAP

It has been like that at least 30 years. House was built in the 30s. That is a common foundation in the southeast. (rock foundation) It was dug out a long time ago. The rest of the house has dirt right up to the stone.

Rock foundation is not a problem
A rock foundation only supported by dirt is
The rock foundation should extend all the way down to the bottom of the dug out area
Of course if its only a 1 story house its not as much of a problem (less weight)

And soil conditions may vary, what you have for "dirt" might be as hard as rock - when dry
Its when its wet that it tends to fall apart...as will your house if that happens

You posted this same issue back in May & it looked much worse with more water:
Water in crawlspace, dug out too close to foundation, How to fix? Build a wall?

The information/advice you received for pouring a proper foundation still applies

Thanks. Appreciate the info. Yes the gutters were clogged, after that it really hasn't had any water down there. We have had tons of rain since then and it hasn't really been an issue alot more than back then.

Yes it is a 1 story house. It looks to me like rock on dirt. We live on a mountain and the soil is very rocky and is mainly clay.

My Main/future plan is to dig a small footer, put some rebar and build a cinder block wall and back fill with dirt to guarantee soil retention but until then we planned on slathering some type of concrete to make sure it is ok.
