Quick and easy
I want to add on to an existing slab on grade (4" thick). I would rather not use any concrete or blocks. What are your thoughts about just laying PT lumber down and screwing to the slab?

It is 14 foot square slab and need a quick temporary shelter so I can sort through my crap for an ebay or flea market sale, maybe two years or so - I have a lot of stuff.

My concerns are the sheathing that touches the ground, would a good dose of oil paint work?

Basically a nice tent would work but need it more secure than that, if not for wind and rain but crack thieves too.

do not use PT lumber, it still rots and is not made for ground contact.
you want "foundation grade" 2x's and plywood.
cut the plywood in strips and put that around the base of your framing, then normal plywood above.
tyvek and side or whatever as normal.
