Proper way to install chimney pipe in metal building roof
Simple , just cut your hole out and install a high temp neopreme boot around the pipe using lap screws and tape butle to seal the boot, and a rain deflector on top of your pipe. Due to expansion and contraction you will have to keep an eye on the screws on the boot every year depending on the climate where you live, you can put caulk on the screws to help keep them sealed and from backing out, if you have problems down the road, simply remove the boot clean the old butle tape and apply new tape butle and use the next size bigger screws to get a better bite on the metal and this will give you more good yesrs of worry free leaks around the boot, Thanks for reading
