do you have vinyl windows? if so the brick mould can get the edge of it cut out to accept the siding.. all vinyl windows are made this way you can order them to be sent already cut out. otherwise you need to do it on site with a sharp utility knife and patience...
jchannel wont work for this application, if its an after thought and you dont want to cut out the side of the brick mould. you will have to build a custom trim which will creat a channel for the trim to go into... this isnt really a diy task at this point unless your really good with your tools
Rock16 is correct, flexible channel works best with round half circle windows. I just finished siding my home with Prodigy vinyl siding. I have two sets of Anderson double casement windows with half circle windows above them. I used a white vinyl scalloped panel around the half circle windows which fit perfectly into the flexible channel. Make sure to check the thickness of the siding in reference to the size of the flexible channel.
