Problems with laser levels

I do have a low cost Laser Square that has self release dogs to release it from being fastened to the wall with adhesive putty. I've only use this Level the floor to lay out 90 partitions.

The Stanley S2-XL is three times as expensive as the S2 but then the S2-XL is claimed to have a four times brighter beam and much greater bubble level accuracy.
Specs on the S2:

.
The good thing about this class of Lasers is that they project a 'Chalk Line'
as compared to the Lasers that project a dot, like a pointer. A Dot type laser is better over greater distances but usually require an extra step in pulling a horizontal line.

Problems with laser levels

Alright; here are some last minute sketches. These are redesigns of the StraightLine 120. After this I have to make the designs final. I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks
