prehung door on concrete

the RB prehung door I got for my basement has little strips of plastic on the bottom of the jambs. is it ok to put this right on concrete? is this a moisture barrier?

tnx

You need to be more specific. is the threshold plastic? or are there plastic strips on metal threshold? in either case make sure you use a good caulking to seal door threshold to floor during install .

After rereading what you wrote, these are probalby as you stated to keep ends of jamb from any wetness. As i said make sure you caulk door threshold good during install
