pre fab vs. stick built

We are trying to decide which to build, either a pre-fab or stick built. Our concern is quality. Which would be better?

Shed? House? Garage?

Where are you building it? Alaska? Martha's Vineyard? A field in Omaha?

Go with a pre-built stick, I hear they are fab.

Andy.

We are building in Indiana. We live in the woods. Good to build it into a partial Hill.

It depends on the company that's building the prefab.
Not sure how they get away with it but a lot of mobil home companys are calling the double wides prefabs.
There still cheaply built. Nothing more then a trailer with a fancy name.
A real moduler home will not still have a metal frame under it when it's set on the foundation. Newer ones will have 2 X 6 walls, 3/4 plywood or Advantec sub flooring not partical board. Real new constrution windows not thin slim line windows.

Where any moduler home company fails is the crews they have come finish them out. Not once have I seen them do there jobs correctly.

Second that!

I have to speak for everyone here, but what the heck are you trying to build? A hide out? A tool shed? A ranch home? A multi-family home? A football stadium? A space station?

WHAT?!
