Hi Folks, Anyone have a sense of materials pricing for multicoat? We are looking to repair our pool deck, which is currently concrete and has a 1/2 level difference between the coping and the concrete. We figure we'll bring the concrete up to the level of the coping and then cover both the deck and the coping with krete coat and the other multicoat materials needed.
Can a general mason with good concrete skills but no experience with multicoat handle the install?
How much will the materials cost me per square foot?
I've heard 7$ plus or minus per sq ft. for professional install.
never having work w/'multicoat', still have some comments,,, while you can certainly determine the cost of mtls yourself ( no sense addressing that issue since its just arithmetic ), its probably more likely you can't conjure up the knowledge & experience to properly repair & prep the existing,,, ' IF your 1/2 level difference ', its very likely the mtl will need to be ' extended. '
' general mason ' would generally not be familiar w/mtls OR have the expertise to work w/polymer-modified mtls,,, just having attended a training session usually translates into ' your education is just beginning
if you hear it from a guy in the apron store, be VERY suspicious the mtl/method will work,,, when it time to build something together, they won't answer phones NOR help
