Pole Barn Posts
Trying to figure out on a pole barn that will be horse stalls, it will be 12'x40'. I will have 10 (or so) main "poles" but trying t decide what size they should be. Trying to do it on a budget, and seems it is very hard to find 4"x6"x12' treated posts. Trying to decide if 4x4 treated posts would actually be enough.

Yeah, 6x6s.
You could do 6x6 on the corners and 4x6s on the walls. I've done that before and it was fine. (Passed inspection and engineering review). I would NOT do 4x4s.
