plywood over bad boards on roof


should the contractor replace the bad boards on my roof or is it ok to place plywood over the bad boards.

If by bad boards you mean rotten, then yes he should. There is no other answer than YES.

plywood over bad boards on roof


I think the OP is talking about a contractor resheathing the deck over existing old boards. There isn't much need to replace the boards as long as it's just a few. An large area completely rotten, I'm sure they will replace and resheath over.
