Harmful if it falls on you....leave it alone and it won't bother you in the least. So are you getting a free signal with the rent? I don't know of anyone still using a satellite receiver any longer.

Carlo,
Those old satellite dishes are just receivers only. They don't emit anything, so they are harmless. You just don't see many of them around anymore. LOL

Mike is 100% correct!

The size of the disk area is just to amplify a very weak sattelite signal and direct it to the center collector. No RF emissions to be concerned about.

Its an antique but probably still works.

Can ya imagine holding a cell phone with one of those attached?

I hear that these things are programed to drain your brain while you sleep, then implant thoughts of premium channels into your head so you will buy more channels from them. Thats why I have cable!

USP 45. if you wear your tinfoil hat to bed, the harmfull radiation will not penetrate your head. you do need to dispose of the tinfoil safely though, because it will be filled with the trapped radiation. Double wrap the tinfoil in saran wrap and then double wrap in newspaper. then place the package on the bottom of the trash can. Problem solved, no need to thank me.
