Plastering over plyboard


hi could anyone tell me if its possible to plaster over plyboard,as ive got a plyboard cupboard which hides pipe work. THANK YOU

Plastering over plyboard


It would probably be easiest to just cover it in a thin drywall. However I am sure it is possible to put up a screen mesh then coat it as the do on the walls. Plaster work is somewhat of a art. I would have it done by someone that has plaster before or I would stick to the drywall. You could always put on a thin coat to the drywall if you are try to achieve the final plaster look.

Plastering over plyboard


We are building a new home. We have about 1000 sq ft out door covered ceilings. I cant deal with looking at Hardie Seams. Stucco is out of budget. Any ideals on some type of water proof materials to moisture ?
