Plastering Mix

Could anyone please tell me what the mix is for plastering for a smooth finish on an exterior breeze block wall. I would wondered if it was possible to plaster over a wooden framework with galvanised mesh pinned to the framework. Is there a chance the plaster mix might fall off?

Thanks
Suzanne

Plastering Mix

Are you in Great Britain?

That could have a bearing on the selection of materials and practices.

I am not qualified on plastering, but there are others that can offer suggestions.

Plastering Mix

Not quite sure what you are trying to achieve?
If block then there is no need for mesh as the render/stucco will key. Wooden frame?
As for mix & quantities see here: http://www.source4me.co.uk/calculate_render_stucco.htm
