Hi. Does anybody know about attaching plasterboard to a ceiling? We have prepared the walls in three rooms of our house and will get a professional plasterer to skim them for us but we need to do the ceilings too. Does naybody know whether you can attach the plasterboard in small sections? Or does it have to be whole sheets?...they seem so big and heavy!

Small sections make for more seams Don't do that. Not very desirable on a the ceiling. It could get wavy when finished. The pros use what is called a drywall lift. It makes a hard job go pretty smoothly. You could look into renting on from a tool rental place. Or another option is to get two three or so people to hold it up while another person puts the screws in. I many time have done it with only one helper using my head until I got enough screws in so I could go onto the other side and finish screwing it up.
