Can't get the specs on a footer under a 28x60 MH. I'm putting 8" block up to ledger under the outer walls. Calls to the local inspector aren't returned and I want to get going. It doesn't support but it's own weight so I'm figuring 8x16 with 2 runs of #4 bar. Too much or too little?
Don't know what part of the country you're in, but just be sure you cut a piece of 2x8 lumber 16 or 24 inches and see that it fits between footer and trailer frame, when you do the footer. Yes two lengths of rebar is fine in footer. Lay your block up on the corners first. Above all make sure your trailer is dead level, before you start
Thanks for the height tip. I'm leveling it, re-plumbing it, moving the water heater for a new packaged heat pump intake, removing the propane furnace and AC. I'm going to put tan split face concrete block around the perimeter.
