Pella sliding glass door trim seperated from glass

The Pella sliding glass door on my sunroom has had the trim around the glass seperate
Its pulled away from the glass
Is there an epoxy or something I can use to re-attach the trim to the glass ?

Its only 3 years old......and I have no idea where I bought it
But it was new....still has the stickers on it
No receipt no warranty I guess...I think purchased @Lowes but no idea
Wondering if I ended up with some old stock

This is a pic of the outer door, only 1 small corner
The inner door is a little worse, again only the bottom edge/corner

You can just see a grey blob (on left) that is supposed to hold the trim in

If it is like other Pella products I have worked on, you may already be in trouble. Water gets behind the trim and into the wood, which then expands/swells and further pushes the trim out, whcih lets in more water. If this is the early stages, I have had some luck just caulking with clear or white silicone. Once rot takes hold, not much you can do, and Pella won't do anything. Which is why I am always so negative about Pella products.

The outer panel is not that much of a gap
The inner panel is worse
The only reason I bought the Pella is the screen is on the inside
Eventually I think I will replace this with a fixed pane & 1 door that swings open

I would contact Pella for a recommendation. I've had issues with Andersen on occassion and they just ask for the code number on the glass, never asked for a receipt. So call Pella and check with them. This issue may be covered.

I actually did call Pella
They referred me to a distributor that is about an hour North of me
I just assumed I'd need to prove purchase date
I'll contact them 1st just to make sure

Sorry to resurrect the old thread, but I wanted to ask a question and am too new to be allowed to send PMs.

I have a 35 year old sliding glass door that needs replacement. There's plenty of rot around the frame, and leakage around the glass.

Bill (and others), what brand doors do you recommend instead of Pella?

There's no need to send pm's. You just post a question on the forum.
I use Andersen and recommend them to my customers.
