Patio slab w/ deck box issue

The deck box that I just bought is 41 in long. A bit on the longer side. Since my patio step is also very long it forces the deck box to go about 8-10 inches over the patio. Should I place a few flat, thin brick pavers underneath or just leave it?

I do need to place some compacted brown soil next to my home's foundation as well this Spring.

Patio slab w/ deck box issue

Why not just turn it so it's sitting fully on the deck?
Is that OSB attached to your foundation?
Is that a pressure treated board under your sliding door?
Does that piece stick out behond the threshold on the door?

I would rather have it sit next to the house.
Step is removable.
Yes it's pressure treated.
Sticks out a bit yes.
