Patio extension
I was wondering if i need a permit to extend my patio. My patio enclosure was from a company called coleman. i just want to add a few more feets. if i need a permit, i need a contractor right? thank you in advance.

Patio extension
You should be able to pull your permit without a contractor. Talk to your local gov agency that issues permits they should have a packet of forms and instructions to help you through the process.

By 'Patio', I think you mean that this is some kind of enclosed 3-season porch?
If so, or if you are also going to add to the enclosure portion, then the last response pretty much makes it clear that ..yes, you will need a permit.

Thanks for reply. i have attach a picture of the patio. i just want to extend it to the end of the cement. I heard that we need a drawing/plan to get the permit. Do you think we should built a new patio, since we have to get the permit and the current patio is old. I need to get the patio inspected, right?
