Patio cover for L shaped house.

Hello. Having some issues with the design aspect of a patio cover I am beginning to build. I live in San Diego. No snow of any kind and minimal rain. I want to build a cover that is part of the house. Removing part of the roof and set rafters of patio directly on top plate of house. Roof will be two ply torch down. And the cover should have a fall of about 1/2 in per foot. The rafters of the cover will have a out 16 feet of span. Was planning on using 2x8 rafters and a 4x10 header. Because it is a l shaped house I'm going to have to build a cricket on one part of the roof and change the valley a little. I'm thrown what to do to tie in some parts of the cover like where the two existing fascia run to the corner. Any idea be great.
