overhead door


I have a question.My father inlaw repalced my garage door and now when it is closed with the garge door opener the pole that runs the chain from the garge door opener to the wall above the garage door shackes so much that it will actually stop the garage door from continueing it path to the ground..anyone know what may be up with the issue???

overhead door


Re run the install specifications on the garage door opener to make sure its installed properly. Check the door itself for ease of motion with the opener clutch disengaged. May just need to increase the closing force on the motor.

thanks for the info guys.The father in law figured it out I think he had the speed on the door coming up alittle to fast now she is running smoothly..
