Outside Baluster Spacing

i screwed up the first finish, i used something that made the Ipey look all streaky white. i then stripped them and used boiled linseed oil. holding up great and looks nice. slippery as hell, but the ice and snow shoves off easily!

I am redoing the balusters and rails on my front porch and i cant figure out what the formula is to make sure i get my balusters evenly spaced out. Can someone please help me out?

Now see DM I would have made more work for myself & installed a wrap-around deck around the whole thing

i wish he had more of the planks, for sure! i'd LOVE to continue on with a deck! as it is, i'm going to put a concrete slab there for a 'deck'.
i still (hopefully) will be able to get enough to do the exact same porch for the front of the house. i mean, the guy could die tomorrow or somethin'....

i finally had time to finish the handrails today. (added the side runners to the half-circle tops)
