I think each has its own merit's depending on the particular situation. There is no one "fix all"

Where is this pool?? Mine is green right now trying to get it cleared up....

Don't fret - the next poll is about spacing out receptacles...

Only 2 people voted??

I'm actually just curious to see what people choose - I know the whole subject is so debateable.

How can you vote if you do not know what the application is?

I could easily vote for all of the above and be correct.

....................I will only vote if beer geek conducts the poll.

(I'm convinced he has shares in the "receptacle making industry")

Well there is no specific application in mind - because I'm just asking out of a curiosity, but I see you point. Lets say from now on that we are talking about a simple exterior wall. Studded and drywalled. Um, cool climate zone like right in my home state of MA, above grade.

I voted kraft faced, not because I think its a better barrier but because I am a fan of gluing drywall. Cant do that with poly barriers on top of studs.

I prefer A on walls, B on ceilings for ease of installation.

Although in my garage I didnt use any vapor barrier on the ceilings in upstate NY because IMO it tends to trap moisture above and ruin the insulation.
