Open rafter tail trim out and ventilation

I am building a new home with open rafter tails and am looking for some ideas around triming out the space between the rafter tails. I am using brick veneer and hardy plank, the trim would finish out from the top of the veneer and the space between the rafters. I don some searching and found a product called Cor-a-vent, but it only comes in black and white.
Would like to make it custom. Any pctures would be great.

Thanks in advance

You could use a series of 11" hardy planks and an aluminum soffet vent. It means cutting a hole in that stuff and it dulls the blades and makes a shed load of dust.

Paint the vents with spray paint any color

What part of the country are you in? Only time I've ever seen a house with open rafter tails with no fascia , a pressure block was required between the rafters. Just curious.

Open rafter tails
I'm in south Louisiana. As far as I know there are no codes to govern this here. Any ideas are welcome.

Uh.. Is this house built already? Pretty sure you have hurricane force winds there and a pressure block would absolutely be required, as well as probably 2 A35 clips and minimum a H1 clip on the rafter. You can however still have vent holes in the pressure block, and still do whatever kind of vented soffit you want.. Is the home in the design phase?
