No rim joist for ledger board.
Currently in the process of installing a set of wood steps over the remains of a set of demolished concrete steps that lead up to our porch. The problem being that there is no rim joist to attach a ledger board to. On the other side of this double-stacked brick wall is the inside of the garage, but there is no access to the ends of the joists (without tearing down parts of the masonry inside). Trying to get some ideas on how we can secure a ledger board for the stringers. The steps will be about 4' wide.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
