New siding question and what to do with wires.

I am going to be putting on new siding or cedar shakes this spring and I would like to know if anyone knows what the wires are in the attached pis and if I can somehow bury them in the plywood after I rip off the old shingles. I think one of them is the cable, but I don't know what the thicker one is. I have a few spots around the house with these wires exposed. Thanks

It looks like the wires that supply the house with electricity. You will not bury these wires. They will go on top of any siding you put on the house.

Ok, thanks. I guess I need to paint them to match the siding, then.

Perhaps you could make a nice cap for them out of coil stock.

do you have a pic lower down where the wires come out of the house?

talk to an electrician you may be able to get them into the wall fairly easily

oh its the service entrance? then no you can't but the smaller ones you can and should

kinda looks like a feed to an addition to me

Were I am at we have to toss those wires in rigid pipe. You could get creative with them and make a chase for them (removable)
