Getting ready to put up about 50ft of 6ft privacy fence in a few weeks. Got some q's...

-What's the proper way to stack the fence board so they dry out properly and how long should I wait before I mount them?

-What's the best kind of fasteners. I have a framing nailer but I imagine screws would be best. What about the treated wood interacting with the metal?

Wet, pressure treated wood will take more then a few weeks to dry out. Stack the wood spaced with 1x2's or any scrap 3/4" wood you have. Best way to determine dryness would be a moisture meter.
If you're using screws, use stainless steele.

I ended up stacking them tic-tac-toe style, they lost a substantial amount of water weight being covered in the 90-degree sun for a few weeks. Just put them up, I'm comfrotable that they won't do too much more shrinking.
