New Addition roof

Glad to hear that you will build to code! When you didn't answer the beginning suggestions to build safely, I figured -- no permit, so I had to ask. This makes me want to help you as much as possible. Take a lot of pictures so when done, you can watch them in the new room....

Be safe, Gary

New Addition roof

Thanks Gary, and yes, I plan on taking many pictures. My neighbor wants to do the same type of work to his house, so after mine is done, hopefully it will look good enough to where he will want his done as well and we can both jump in head first. Believe me, the biggest reason for me wanting to do this work myself, besides saving money, is the fact that I will have the experience of building it myself and will be more proud when people come over now.
