Need Nickle screws for front door hinge

I have a new home and the top hinge has 5 of the eight screw holes stripped. The screws screw in but don't get tight. The length is 3/4" long. I guess I could install dowels in the holes (after I drill them larger) but I wanted to install longer screws as that would be easier. The problem I am having is locating longer nickle screws. Is 3/4" long the only ones that are available? I think they are a #8 flathead screw.
Thanks

Most new pre-hung doors come with 1-3 longer screws in the finish (nickel or brass) so you can connect the hinges to the house framing. That said, any door supplier "can" order the screws your looking for.

Forget the box stores, they have their apron strings on to tight to figure it out.

Even a good hardware store can get confused.

Go to your well established local lumber yard's contractors desk, they can hook you up.

I say “go to the contractors desk” because their the vet's in the store. The guy/gal at the register probably doesn’t have a clue.

Ayuh,... A wooden match,+ a spot of glue will Fix the holes....
Then reuse the screws you have...

Home Depot has them in 1-3/4", both finishes. Across the aisle from the locksets.

Be safe, Gary

Tried a toothpick first and that was no good. This just seems to be a short term fix. Thanks for helping.
