Need help with lattice

Wood is good but vinyl is final.
Vinyl lattice with pvc done the right way looks real nice (see Lone photos). I do alot of it on LBI. Comes in different colors too so doesn't have to be white.
Need contrast. White would be way too much. Could offset very nicely with the right color.
If privacy used (which I totally prefer) then foundation should "disappear". But could paint, if not sure.
Definitely would do cultured stone on the columns.

Beautiful home, by the way!
What the hell am I doing wrong?
Oh, that's right, I have 3 in college and a wife.
I did not think about vinyl. I let my wife read the response's She's off the kick for now. Maybe just putting stones around the columns and staining the foundation would look really nice. I agree with previous post, landscaping, we need a lot.

You're not doing anything wrong. I got a deal on the place: it was a foreclosure.

I would take a good crisp digital image of the house. Teach the spouse how to mask it off in one of the virtual paint programs from the major paint companies and let her try out infinite color combinations.

Great idea. Will let her do that.

What about a Pergola over the cars, especially with them sitting out in the sun.

We've thought about something, but I eventually want to do a three bay garage on the other side of the drive with a sidewalk to the house. Still up in the air.

Even if you do the garage, a Pergola if you put in a parking pad for visitors may still look neat, especially if you make the pad with a rock base. Anything to dress it up to give more appeal. Maybe talk to an architect to have them do something to show you what it may look, especially with landscaping. Worth the investment for planning in the long run.

Yea, just Google pergola. It would help with appeal tremendously right now it's plain jane with the outside. My wife said add some ivy to it. Great idea.... My last house we did all that stuff: lighted pavers, stones, pond, all that pretty grass, and so on. The second home is always like damn........not again. and I just can't justify paying someone do to something my wife and I can do.
