what type of nail should I use to attach a furring strip at the junction of two plywood panels?

why are you nailing a furring strip at the junction of two plywood panels? what is behind the plywood panels, wood, concrete, steel?

30 penny timber spikes ought to hold it........... might have to predrill though. :whistling2:

are you scabbing 2 plywood panels together? Usually I like to use screws
