Moving Plumbing in Concrete Slab Ceiling
I would like to move a toilet sewer service in a slab that is the ceiling to the garage, as well as the floor for the next level. The pipes are exposed in the garage.

Post a picture---do you know if this is a post tensioned slab?

If it is you must miss the rebar----I suggest you call a core drilling company to place your hole. those machines(diamond coring) are best left in the hands of a pro---

I second that. They have much better equipment than the garbage you rent at your local rental shop, along with more know-how. God help you if you get a bit stuck (ask me how I know), and the minimum charge is often about what you'd pay to rent the machine anyway.

In the old days we figured each core drill was going to cost $100 an inch to replace--

A four inch bit was about $400----
