mounting buck boards

We are getting ready to keep critters from getting into our house that is under construction. We are wanting to tack up clear plastic over the concrete window and door openings. Since we are not sure right now what exterior (if any) will cover the concrete block then is it safe for me to install the buck boards in the window and door opening flush with the outside edge of the block ?
Also is there anything I need to make sure is in place before I mount the boards into place or can the flashing and evrything be done later ?

I found the answer to one of my questions. I guess I was searching the internet with the wrong words. It seems I will be mounting the edge of the pressure treated wood flush with the outside edge of the block. I cant help but believe the same will be done for the door opening as well.

Be sure to use some poly sill sealer or foam under the p.t. from a box store to keep the little creepy crawlers out, too.
Be safe, G

That sounds like good additional insurance.
Thanks
