mobile home/manufactured home

Does anyone have any experience in dealing with these types of homes in Florida that are 30 years old. I wondered what type of normal repairs would one expect to encounter. Thanks

You might have an impossible time insuring it . Especially if there's a mortgage. Those other guys didn't mention- ceilings, doors, windows, wiring, insulation...I think all together we've given you most of the short list. Also, if there's a septic tank, Florida just passed a stringent new law about them. There was a lot of uproar, but it passed anyway. I think it was labeled HB550 but i'm not sure.

I did. I consider anything inside the box as Interior panels. Anything else structure. As for a mortgage, worst the banking industry could have done with manufactured houses that have four wheels on them to pull them around.

Too bad we can't tow the banking industy off, and dump it in the desert. Those guys should be locked up in FEMA trailers.
