Question

minimum length for powder room

was wondering what the minimum length for a powder room should be. the simplest design possible with the john facing the vanity and a 24" door opening outside in between the two. my current powder room is 72" long but i think i could go smaller (moving it to a different part of the house).

thanks

you need 30" for the toilet (i refuse to call it a "john"). other than that, i guess you go as small as whoever uses it can squeeze into. submarines have pretty small heads. good luck. john (the other kind)

If your door swings in make sure you don't have to climb onto the john to close the door.
