Mildew paint on studs

. While watching a DIY home project, I saw that they were using studs that were coated in a blue coating and talked about how they are mildew/mold resistant. Is this a special paint that they used or do they buy the studs this way? What about the cut ends on these. What brands are the best? I am building a water pump control building approx 32 Sq ft for all the filters and valves. It will be insulated because we get some snow in the winter. What are your suggestions?
