MicroPro AC2 Pine for Deck

What can you guys tell me about MicroPro AC2 Pine from Menards? It is a pressure treated wood. I am looking at building a deck with? How does it compare to Red Cedar?

The pressure treated wood products sold at Menards are typically either Southern Yellow Pine or Red Pine species.* These species of trees are generally produced from well managed forest programs and plantations.* The wood is pressure treated with the Osmose MicroPro wood treatment system.* Information on the MicroPro process can be found at www.osmosewood.com.* Menards sells two lines of AC2 MicroPro treated products.* One is in a light natural green color and the second is a cedar tone color.* For information on these products, visit a Menards store or their website.

Thanks for the information...however, whether it is Southern Pine or Red Pine makes a big difference on the Beam Span per this guide (http://www.awc.org/Publications/DCA/DCA6/DCA6-09.pdf) to which my local Building Permits website directed me. I'll call or go in to Menards, before I submit my plans, since their website is just a (stripped) version of their print ad.

Thanks
